About Atomicity

A software engineering company that finishes what it starts

We build software for growing businesses, from cloud infrastructure and security to SaaS products and custom ERPs. Our teams are small and senior, and every project gets the same care and testing.

Our story

Why we're called Atomicity

Most software projects treat quality as a final check, something to fit in if time and budget allow. Often they don't.

We started Atomicity to work the other way round. Testing, code review and documentation are part of finishing a feature, not extras added afterwards. Clients get software they can trust and their own team can maintain.

The name comes from a database principle: a transaction either completes fully or not at all. We hold our work to the same standard. No half-finished features and no loose ends at hand-over.

Mission and vision

Our mission

To help businesses build reliable, scalable and maintainable software, and to make that level of engineering available to companies of any size.

Our vision

We want well-built software to be the normal expectation, not a premium option, and every growing business to have an engineering partner it can rely on for the long term.

Our values

The principles behind our decisions

Quality by default

Testing and sound architecture are planned in from the first week, not patched on after launch.

Ownership

We take responsibility for outcomes and treat your product as if it were ours.

Honesty

We tell you what we think, including when something isn't worth building.

Simplicity

The simplest solution that solves the problem usually holds up best.

Continuous improvement

We review our work and our own processes, then keep refining both.

Partnership

Long-term relationships built on openness and steady delivery.

How we work

Small senior teams, weekly demos, no surprises

Our way of working keeps you informed and in control from kickoff to launch.

Small, senior teams

Experienced engineers lead each project and stay with it from discovery to launch.

Weekly delivery

You see working software every week and can change priorities as you learn.

Open communication

A shared board, written updates and one point of contact.

Documented hand-over

Code, infrastructure and runbooks are documented so your team can take over at any time.

Our process

  1. Discover

Workshops to understand your goals, users and constraints, and to define what success means.

  2. Plan

Requirements and architecture agreed and checked before development starts.

  3. Build

Short development cycles that each end in a working demo.

  4. Test

Automated tests, code review and QA on every release.

  5. Deploy

Automated, monitored releases with a rollback plan.

  6. Support

Maintenance and improvements from engineers who already know your system.
